He kept the dance floor moving the entire night with a variety of songs as he catered to the groups on the dance floor. Chris made the night go incredibly smoothly; it flowed seamlessly from the ceremony to the last song as he worked with the venue coordinator and photographer. “CoVid 19 had us running in circles, changing our date 3 times and our venue twice, but GDTE & Chris Renn rode the coaster with us and provided us with a rocking time! Our wedding guests spent most of their night on the dance floor under starry lights or rocking colors! Chris was amazing! He took care of everyone, young and old… the bride and groom were thrilled and every guest wore out their dancing shoes (good thing we provided flip flops!). The ceremony and reception ran smoothly and he provided trouble-shooting when needed. We can’t thank him or sing his praises enough!! Thank you!!!”

First off I want to thank DJ Chris Renn myself and Amy for an incredible night. Chris was on time, very professional, and most of all; full of energy. You can feel the energy he brought into the day and the guest fed off the energy. The dancing started before the salads were even served and it didn’t stop until the venue closed down for the night. I had some family members that don’t typically dance out their busting moves. At one point Chris started to play my dad’s favorite song (Frank Sinatra – New York). Chris gave my dad the microphone and he sang along with everyone looking on. He sang the song 35 years earlier at his wedding. My mom and my family that was at that wedding loved this extra touch to our wedding. All my buddies that had no clue, they were going crazy seeing “Papa Stew” with the microphone. Small little details like this make me really appreciative of the difference between a good DJ and a great DJ. He puts his full effort and attention to detail to make sure that our personalities were part of the wedding, he introduced us as Mr. and Mrs. Awesome Stewart, I tend to overuse the word awesome. I can’t thank Chris enough for this and will recommend him to my friends and family. Thanks again Chris you are incredible.

Chris Renn is the best! He has been the DJ at many of our friends’ weddings and we have always had a blast. Because of this, he was the first person we booked once we figured out our wedding date. He is extremely responsive and professional, answering any questions, making sure he got to know us and understanding our likes and dislikes. There is a lot to remember when you are planning your own wedding, and we really appreciated that Chris emailed us to remind us about final meetings, phone calls, and the DJ song planner due dates. That was incredibly helpful.
Chris met with us about a month before the wedding and spent a lot of time getting to know us and going over options and the pace of the night’s events. We felt fully confident in Chris. Therefore, besides giving him a few songs for the do not playlist, we left it up to him to choose the songs based on his feel for the crowd. Also before the wedding, he sent out a message on our Facebook accounts, asking our guests to write suggestions for songs they wanted to hear.
Chris did both our ceremony music and our wedding music, and both were fantastic. During the wedding, Chris had everyone up on the dance floor. Many people told us that they danced more at our wedding than any other wedding they had ever been to. I give the credit for this to Chris. He knew our goal was to dance the night away and he made sure that happened. He was also instrumental in keeping the pace of the night moving along. He always made sure to touch base with me and my husband to let us know it was time for the cake cutting, flower toss, etc. He was also fantastic at coordinating with other vendors, especially the photographer, the venue, and the videographer. I know that we would recommend Chris to anyone who is getting married and I know our friends would too because they all recommended him to us. He is an amazing DJ and we look forward to staying in touch with him in the future!

My husband and I used this company for our DJ, up-lighting, and our photo booth. The photo booth was super fun, they had so many fun props to use. Our DJ, Chris Renn, was very professional and listened to everything we wanted for our day. He was always quick to respond to questions we had and he worked with us up until our wedding to ensure that he knew exactly what we wanted. I changed my mind a few times about important songs or the order people would be introduced in and he was patient with me and would listen and respond quickly. He was fun at the reception and he supplied us with the up-lighting. The music that we allowed him to choose to play during cocktail hour and throughout other parts of the night was appropriate to who we are and the style of music we like. We will recommend using this company and we recommend choosing Chris Renn for your DJ needs!

We have nothing but the BEST to say about our wedding DJ- Chris Renn. From the first appointment, we knew we picked the right DJ. Chris is down-to-earth, attentive, and able to offer pre-marital counseling (jk). He always met us with a smile, and we spoke at length about what “kind” of wedding atmosphere we wanted on our big day. We reassured Chris there would be NO lack of people on the dance floor, and we were right. He kept the music going and the dance floor packed (with all ages) throughout the entire night. Even when someone made a poor decision to hang from the $2,500 antler chandelier at one point in the night… he immediately slowed the music down without anyone knowing there was something going on. Not only is Chris GREAT at what he does, but he was also fun to be around, great to work with and so fun to have at our wedding. We felt like he was one of our guests- not just a vendor. There are not many opportunities to say that about a wedding professional. We are so lucky to have had him DJ our wedding and we continue to have our family and friends compliment his style and choices of music throughout the night.
